Does my phone support eSIM?
eSIM is supported by most phones released since 2019, but there are exceptions — especially iPhones bought in mainland China, Hong Kong or Macao. Use the checker below to confirm before you buy a travel data plan.
Compatibility also requires the device to be carrier-unlocked. Phones still locked to a home carrier may not accept a travel eSIM.

One more thing — is your phone carrier-unlocked?
Even an eSIM-capable phone won’t accept a travel eSIM if it’s locked to your home carrier. Most postpaid phones in the US, UK, and a few other markets are sold locked. Contact your home carrier to confirm unlock status before traveling.
