How to Set Up Your eSIM

Installing your GoWorldeSIM takes just a couple of minutes. Follow the steps for your device below. We recommend installing before you travel and activating once you arrive.

Before you start

• Make sure your device supports eSIM and is carrier-unlocked.
• Connect to Wi-Fi or a working data connection to install.
• Have the QR code from your delivery email ready.

iPhone

1. Open Settings → Cellular (or Mobile Data).
2. Tap Add eSIM or Add Cellular Plan.
3. Scan the QR code from your delivery email.
4. Follow the prompts to add the plan. Label it (e.g. “Travel”).
5. Keep your home SIM as primary; set the eSIM for data when you arrive.

To install manually, choose Enter Details Manually and paste the SM-DP+ address and activation code from your delivery page.

Android

Steps vary slightly by brand (Samsung, Google Pixel, etc.), but the flow is similar:

1. Open Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs.
2. Tap Add eSIM or the + next to SIMs.
3. Choose to scan a QR code and scan the code from your email.
4. Confirm and download the plan.
5. Enable the eSIM for data when you reach your destination.

Activating at your destination

Most plans start when your eSIM first connects to a local network. When you arrive, turn on the eSIM line and enable data roaming for that line so it can connect to the local carrier. Check the activation rule on your plan if you are unsure.

Tips

• Do not delete the eSIM after installing — the QR code works only once.
• Keep your home SIM for calls and texts; use the eSIM for data.
• If you have no signal on arrival, toggle Airplane mode on and off.
